National Honor Society Students do Project at James Quick House

Students from the Gaylord High School National Honor Society participated in a cleanup project at the James Quick House on Tuesday, May 9th. "Initially we approached GoNorthProperties because we have been raising funds for the May 20th, 2023 Gaylord 5K Color Run For A Cure and we were hoping for a donation," said Lucas Ealy, a NHS volunteer continuing his education at the University of Alabama. "We've raised $10,000 this year so far, and people can still sign up for the run at https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Gaylord/GaylordColoredForACure ."

Proceeds from the Color Run for a Cure go towards the T.A.C.K.L.E. fund that provides assistance to those in Otsego County with Cancer. The T.A.C.K.L.E. Fund supports those in Otsego County, and in 2022 it helped pay for 403 total treatments, for a look at how United Way helps Otsego County please go to www.otsegounitedway.org

The Gaylord 5k Color Run For A Cure starts and ends at the Pavilion on Court, located at 162-198 Court in the Heart of Downtown Gaylord.
